Water Damage in Little Italy San Diego

This before and after series illustrates water damage from a townhome in the Little Italy area of San Diego. We got a call from a shocked homeowner that there was standing water all over their home, and the upstairs sink was overflowing, causing a hole to form in the downstairs ceiling!

The homeowner of this split level townhome had turned the sink on in an upstairs bathroom when she received a call and had to suddenly step outside, forgetting the sink had been left on. Just 45 minutes later, she walked inside to a destroyed home, holes in the ceiling, and standing water throughout her home.

The SERVPRO of San Diego City SW crew were onsite within an hour of receiving the call, extracting water and doing an initial cleanup, while we assisted the homeowner with verifying insurance coverage on the damage.

The after photo shows the minimal ceiling drywall removal that our team had to do, and we were able to use our specialty drying equipment to "duct" in to the ceiling to minimize demolition required.
